Backwater Brawl - Global Game Jam 2014


"A 2.5d couch multiplayer platformer. While making this game we attempted to incorporate the theme in a way that would differentiate our project from other "brawling/platformer" type games by adding a heightened level of selfishness. You only see what you want to see, what you need to see. You will pay more attention to your color and the corresponding items through the game, rather than other players. They are simply a means to the end. All you want to see is what you are"

Primary roles included level, game, and UI design as well as 3D modeling and texturing. The game was completed in under 48 hours as a team of six students and won "Best Student Game" at the Algonquin College Jam Site.
